During a session, the individual’s attention is directed to external stimuli, such as tracking the therapist’s fingers with their eyes. This bilateral stimulation is applied while the person concentrates on specific memories, with the aim of reducing the emotional intensity associated with them.

Zo bepalen niet de mensen om u heen, of de wereld om u heen wie je bent, maar bepaalt u dat zelf door bewust te zijn wat er zich allemaal in u afspeelt. Ook uw emoties of gedachtepatronen worden zo duidelijk voor u en krijgt u inzicht wat die voor invloed hebben op uw dagelijkse leven.
